Here is a little acrylic and pencils painting that started out as a life study.

Los Angeles Plain Air Festival

I took a part of the Los Angeles Plain Air Festival that mainly took place around my own backyard - Downtown. It was a fun event that pushed me out of my studio and into the elements of outdoors, we were "roughing it". I painted this cool fire escape right here on Spring Street, there is some graffiti on it that has been running almost a decade. The painting turned out great, I love it, and it got me 1st place in the acrylic category, woot! Its painted on wood and size is 24 x 48 inches, available: mikolajone@yahoo.com

Box of Yum.

let's just say that inspiration comes from many places, but it can easily be said that desire and attraction are most frequent causes for art. Here is an example of it.

Natura

New painting! I really wanted to paint a nice green piece with a strong positive message. She is part of the natural word and seamlessly blends into the world that surrounds her. It its sort of strange to see a green face, however when its embedded in the forrest it looks very NATURAL. I feel like the picture doesn't do its justice, it looks really nice in person.
