I took a part of the Los Angeles Plain Air Festival that mainly took place around my own backyard - Downtown. It was a fun event that pushed me out of my studio and into the elements of outdoors, we were "roughing it". I painted this cool fire escape right here on Spring Street, there is some graffiti on it that has been running almost a decade. The painting turned out great, I love it, and it got me 1st place in the acrylic category, woot! Its painted on wood and size is 24 x 48 inches, available: mikolajone@yahoo.com

Box of Yum.
let's just say that inspiration comes from many places, but it can easily be said that desire and attraction are most frequent causes for art. Here is an example of it.

VALIS
Horselover Fat was a huge airhead. One day the Vast Active Living Intelligence System beamed up directly to his head a new meaning to his poor life. What started as an visual transmission, became a long conversation with the digital God above. Walking through an ancient and oil ridden landscape he shifted his life into a new direction. H3ΔL1NG 〰 CRYSTΔL 〰〰 〰〰 〰〰
My neighbor took apart her loft and gave me this 35 x 60 inches panel. This painting should be munted high so its healing vibrations rain down upon the viewers in a Δ shape.

Donut Wave

Here is another wave with donuts eyes. I painted this one on my building windows on 5th and Main Downtown LA. There are still lots of vacant stores down here, great canvas for temporary art.
