I did a new painting. I used the drawing I did below as a reference and added my flood throughout the buildings. I feel that my art should have somewhat a connection with my surroundings and be relative to my life. This looks not so far from reality with the global worming (or cooling, depends how you look at it) taking effect. The Los Angeles river used to flood the city and surrounding areas until they build the giant cement banks in an attempt to tame the nature. This piece is going to the One Year Anniversary show at Hold Up Art in Little Tokyo.
